Storytellers

I befriended them –
Yesterday’s ghosts
I roamed around with
Ghouls of the past
I faced them and asked

Why are men
Chastised for knowing;

A Story Blooms

A Story Blooms

Let words nourish my soul
Each letter seep into my pores
With every thought let it surge
A streak of light, an energy rush
Let tender paper caress fingers
As poetry on my lips trembles
Let my pen speak in volumes
As another story gently blooms!

Lagoon

Lagoon

In the lagoon of your eyes
I have lost myself
Surrounded by shimmer
Sinking in the depths
I am colored blue
I am washed in green
Like shadows, reflections
That slide down slowly
With tears of exuberance
As wishes blown gently
On wings of eyelashes!
