Storytellers

I befriended them –
Yesterday’s ghosts
I roamed around with
Ghouls of the past
I faced them and asked
Stories, trials, anecdotes
Until I conquered my fears
For venom cures venom
They don’t petrify me
That threatened me once
For we all are now storytellers

Spectre

Did the strings break
Or the melody die out
Were they so complex
The words and the sounds?
Composing emotions
Did you fall into the trap
Of raking up memories
Kept under a wrap?
Now here’s a whimper
There a mad laughter
Grief from the past
Rises in dark spectre!

Mind Matters

Whirling in my mind
A collective hallucination
Of spirits guiding me
Towards insanity
I blindly embrace
Sights and sounds
Of each murky thought

A part of me lingers
In the stale past
Seeking answers
From silhouettes
Melting in the mist
Far from sight
Never far from mind!

Delirium descends
On my tired mind
Chaos ascends
In my troubled heart
I crave for solace
In the labriynths
Of my raving madness

My mind blows
Dark dreams explode
Under the pressure
Contained for so long
Now floating free
Infecting the world
With smug audacity!

Vagrant Smiles
