Desires – a contemporary style image generated by Bing Image Generators

It wasn’t exactly flavorless
The lingering touch of our lips
It tingled with sweet regret
Tasted a bit like sour guilt
A moment never meant to be
Had now opened doors;
The Desires sneaked in
Giggling, whispering, smirking
Uncontrolled, unabashed
Unrelenting; and I feared
Whatever will they think of next!

Ambition

#FromOneLine 207

Do not haunt my house
With the carcass of ambitions
Threatening to steal my peace
Filling my languid hours
With a disdain that taunts
At my simple needs
Pushing me to compete
Only to hang me by the weight
Of unending desires
So that it can find a companion:
Another human shell,
That gave up joy, for all the toil
